This dress is just a chef’s kiss…mwah. Also, I love this perfume….I got a sample of it when I was at Nordstrom and it’s too good. I ran out of the perfume I had been using and I like to mix it up. So I will order this one next. I hope everyone is having a nice spring break! We had ours last week and it was fun…I love a break from the routine. I am so happy winter is over….that was a long, dark, cold one. When the sun is shining I just feel like I have the will to live suddenly, you?
This dress is so pretty…it reminds me of a Brock Collection dress and it’s only 100 dollars… I love the top detail that is happening here. Also, I love the necklace so much it’s giving me Flinestone vibes but in a good way. Hope you are having a happy Tuesday so far. Although it’s snowing places…spring is in the air..it has to be, I can feel it (insert crying laughing emoji).
If I were going to round up cattle with a light drift of snow…I would wear this because remember…dress for the weather you want to live in. John Mayer covered “Cattle Call” at one of his concerts the other night. I believe it was in St. Louis…anyway..I keep walking around singing this song. It’s so good..who would have known? After I finished making this and uploaded it to the blog….I was like woah those pants…the way I edited them, look like the pants from the Dr. Suess book “What was I scared of?” I am so tired instead of fixing them I decided to lean into it…why not?
This hasn’t been the best week. My heart is hurting for the children and teachers killed in another school shooting. It’s funny how some days, weeks you’re riding high and then boom…you like free fall and splat on the ground. I am really trying to learn how to be gentle with myself, have compassion for myself and others….get curious ask questions. I struggle though I am not going to lie. My knee jerk reaction is like fuck those fuckers and stay away from me assholes….but alas..that seems to backfire and isn’t productive.
Instead I try to wonder why do they think this is a good choice? Or huh…I wonder if they have thought about this from this angle..or I wonder who their friends are…or what type of news they are ingesting…anyway I digress. I am so tired. I am going to bed now. Let’s all hang in there together and do what we can on our end to help make an impactful change.
Make it a casual Saturday….I think I might have a new life motto…dress for the weather you want to live in. I have always intuitively done this….and I am never going to not stop. Hope you’re listening to good music and doing whatever things bring you joy this beautiful Saturday day.
Ahhhhhh anyone else relieved winter is over? That was a rough one where I live…..and I think I am going to put my house up for sale now. I just can’t do it…I love to visit snow so much and I don’t want to live in it half of the year….you know? I love to ski…but I can do a week ski trip and that’s good. I think winters shave at least one year off of my lifespan at a minimum. It’s like putting a gecko in Alaska. It just doesn’t work.

Is this dress a little bit extra? Yes, it absolutely is…extra on the ruffles and volume….and I will allow it because I think if you feel like being extra that’s what you should do. Why not? This lipstick is badass….and speaking of badass make sure you’re one. You know I have been seeing some unkindness around the interweb this week. Then I heard someone say people who hate you or are snarky want something you have. This isn’t just limited to a material things…it can be a quality you have that they don’t….. like freedom of mind, humor or knowing what to actually give a fuck about and what not too. Ok just another random thought.

Rockstar vibes…I am channeling the John Mayer concert at Madison Square Garden the other night.
