I love a good concert t-shirt. My personal requirements…must listen to the music and the love the band or artist! When I go to pick up my son from school and I watch kids walking down the sidewalk wearing Nirvana, Pearl Jam, The Notorious B.I.G shirts…I wonder do they listen to these bands?

All of these pieces to me are wardrobe staples….timeless….can’t go wrong. I just finished reading a book…the title is so cheesy I can’t even bring myself to say what it was…I just can’t…sorry author of this book but next time do better with the title of your book..ha ha! There were things I agreed with and others things I was like…whatever. One of the things I loved is the author talked about time and how it’s our most valuable asset. Basically know why you do things..have a passionate why and remember time is everything.
Thanks to John Mayer and his Sirius XM channel Life…I just found out Norah Jones is releasing a new album and she has a new song out called Running…it’s great. That means she is most likely going on tour soon….exciting! This would be a good outfit to wear to a Norah Jones concert.

Or don’t…..either one. Hi! It’s been too long. My intent wasn’t to step away this long…but I am back and am excited for the year ahead. I lost my images on my blog which was rough way to start the New Year. Maybe though sometimes we have to lose things to realize how much we loved them…thats a sad thought, never mind. (I might be able to restore some of them..I am trying to figure that out.)
This is a fun creative outlet for me, which I need…and hopefully it helps you too! Gives you ideas of how to put things together…maybe we can laugh, cry together a little, share trickle down therapy ideas. I think my highlight of the New Year so far…was John Mayer in Tokyo at a cat bar. I was so sick over the New Year…and if you can get me to laugh when I am down…you win.
When I was delivering my twins in Manhattan….at the end right before baby B was about to come out…I was on the verge of a complete breakdown…and my doctor looked at me and said, “This isn’t you…you aren’t going to give up on me now are you?!!!” He said it in the best way possible..he had a really great sense of humor..he made laugh in that moment of total physical pain and despair…so he won too.
I have other projects I am working on. I was listening to John Mayers live a few days ago and he said he had multiple projects he was working on…and I thought..that’s a good idea…what’s wrong with multiple projects? Also, this is version 1.0 of Life Love and What to Wear…I have some fun plans for this website..so stay tuned!

Here is a top I L O V E from The Great….I love this color…it’s pretty. I have been watching the Grateful Dead shows on Nugs. They are really really good….so if you are looking to go to a concert while say you are working or cleaning or just relaxing on your couch..these concerts have been so good! I highly recommend watching the Phoenix Arizona one…it was really great, they brought the heat.
Ok, I am going to try my best to keep working on my blog this summer. I have a couple other projects going on right now AND my kids are home…so if I have to drop a ball it will be this one. I hope you are having a great whatever day this is…I have totally lost track now that it’s summer..don’t ask me anything because I really don’t know anymore.

This dress is fun…light, breezy, how I like my dresses. It hit me the other day damn…I don’t think I have seasonal depression…it might be year-round. All I want to do is lay on a blanket and let the sunshine permeate my face and body. That doesn’t feel productive or helpful if it goes past a few hours, right? Maybe I am just healing from winter….like everything is being put back that was displaced the last six months from living in a frozen tundra of snow, ice, and grey skies, and I should go easy on myself. I wonder if there is anything after this when we die….and if there is, will it just be music and sunshine? Good food….lots of good loving? Closets full of clothes that don’t feel like clutter but just a palette to use to paint the picture we want to create? I hope so. I hope you’re having a relaxing weekend…full of sun and naps a top of blankets you don’t feel guilty about…maybe you’re lucky enough to lay on your blanket by the sea. Meet you there one day?

I have to say I love everything I have bought at Doen over the years. I find they are always my go to pieces. I wear the same thing a lot…..and when I find myself doing this it usually is a Doen top, dress….or a concert t-shirt ha ha.
