This dress says to me…January is almost over thank heaven. I love the black and the white. Remember not all fashion is toxic….I was questioning after yesterday.
I have been thinking about some of the things shown at fashion week. It makes me feel like I strongly dislike fashion. Then I take a reframe…and I remind myself there are so many great people in the industry. Like Ulla Johnson and Yvon Chouinard who founded Patagonia. They give back substantially and they are conscious of the messages they are sending. There are a lot of designers who are smart and super aware. It’s a good reminder we can be conscious consumers too. What does the brand represent? Are their products ethically made? Do they give back to causes that matter? Just a few things I have been thinking about today.

Sorry I haven’t posted in awhile! My kids got out of school last week and we went to New York. It was so much fun. The city is the best. It was nice to unplug too and just soak up the first of our summer. It was great to spend time with my kids and see my friends. Although I never get to see everyone I want to see.
My friend introduced me to this double face cleanser, it was awesome, my face felt so soft in the morning. I just ordered some! Thanks, Louise.
This is my dream summer dress ( you can also get it here and here). I love these Ulla Johnson sandals and these are similar but the target version. Making them the DEAL OF THE DAY. This color of the sunglasses are great too.

Well, this is the summer look dream. Nothing better than a great dress. Ulla Johnson does it again, I absolutely love her clothes. Pair it with this bag and these sandals. School gets out this week for my kids and I am so excited and ready! What are some of your fun summer plans?! I need to start planning, staying true to my better under pressure life motto. Although as I am getting older, I am finding I am not as quick on my feet and nothing feels better than a plan ahead of time.
