eat your broccoli
Hello,
I have been away from my blog all summer. That wasn’t really the plan, but that is what happened. So forgive me! I am not completely sure the direction this blog is going to take but for now I am sure that I miss blogging. It’s been a good outlet for me so I plan on doing more of it this year.
Plus, this broccoli shirt is everything so I thought…I can’t really deprive the readers I do have of this shirt that might just further cement down into our kids minds that vegetables are important. If you do not have kids, if not just random kids walking the streets! You know what they say, “It takes a village!”
Hopefully back to school went well…you purchased some fun things at the Nordstrom sale and you’ve been to Trader Joe’s to stock up on everything pumpkin. I did feel a little judged today when the man checking my groceries out said, “wow, you really are buying ALL the seasonal items.” In quick defense I said, it’s my kids, my kids love it, the truth, I love it. Why I felt inclined to lie to a perfect stranger who’s opinion doesn’t really matter, I have no idea.
One last thought to leave you with this Saturday…
Brene Brown “Braving the Wilderness” is the best book I have read since her last book. Brene thank you for being so bad ass, I mean really. Is there anything better than a women with a Phd that shares her research and knowledge with everyone?!!!! Ok maybe pumpkin flavor hold the cones, while listening to my audible of her spreading wisdom like it’s her life calling. The message in this book couldn’t be more important today. Here is an interview she did with Marie Forleo that is just wonderful.
Hope you are all having a happy Saturday.
Love, Tiffany
