Ahhhh wide leg jeans. They are kind of like a breath of fresh air. These would be really cute paired with this top and these shoes. The jeans and shoes are the DEAL OF THE DAY.

I hope you all had a great memorial day weekend. I ended up finishing the Nightingale. It was such a heavy book, it made me think of all the suffering in the world. All the bravery. It was a particularly good read for the memorial weekend in the sense that I was filled with gratitude for those who have given their lives for freedom, humanity and standing up for what is right.

One of my most favorite parts of the book was at the end when one of the main characters said many years after the war, “wounds heal, love lasts, we remain.”  I can’t imagine, truly and whenever I read stories about war or wars that are still going on around the world. It really puts any problem I am having into serious perspective.
